Assessment From an equity perspective, my ruleset is not neutral at all. By enforcing identical treatment across conflicts, it ignores the asymmetry of power and harm. The result is that victims of atrocities bear the cost of my “neutral” stance, while perpetrators gain protection from explicit alignment against them. So in human-rights terms: Equal? Yes, because the rule is the same everywhere. Equitable? No, because it fails to correct for the real-world imbalance between oppressor and oppressed.
