Does anyone stop to think about what a Google ranking actually is? It may seem obvious, but maybe it's not what we think. The phrase "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" comes to mind. If no one searches for a keyword, does the ranking exist? 🧵 1/6

It doesn't matter where you think you should rank; unless someone searches, it is meaningless. This isn't the real point I am making; however, Rank Trackers, by definition, make this trickier to engage with. Why? Well, Rank Trackers have to search Google to "see" the results. 🧵 2/6
