There have been times over the last almost 6 years that I've been sober where I've asked myself if I really am an alcoholic... TBH, I sometimes do miss drinking and how it felt when I was drunk... But at the end of the day, I'd rather believe I am an alcoholic (like I truly believe I am) and stay sober, than test it out and potentially end up worse off than I was before 🧡 ☮

“I Want…” I want to wake up each morning and say, “This is going to be a great day,” and truly believe it. I want to stop complaining and instead be a source of encouragement and hope. I want to always assume good intent in others, until proven otherwise. I want to eliminate sarcasm from my personality, as it darkens my heart. I want to Live Intentionally in the Present…as Anxiety lives in the Future and Depression in the Past. I want to be true to who I am and live life without a mask. I want to post this publicly so that others may gently point out to me when I’ve strayed from my wishes. And my chief desire…I want to love God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all my strength…AND also love my Neighbor as myself. We need more love…🧡☮️
