A colossal boulder supporting the colossal stone roof of Hetty Peggler’s Tump, a Neolithic long barrow near Uley in Gloucestershire. Between the massive vertical stones is compact dry stone wall. The structure was excavated and “restored/repaired” in the 19th century so hard to know if the drystone is original. The entry is a low and narrow passage so little light enter.
