Neat rows of packaged sausages under a glass counter. From left to right, there are salami and thin meatloaf slices packed in transparent plastic, then sausage-shaped packages in bright orange with a colourful illustration of two dancing children and the words, „Fleischwurst für Kinder“ in red italic writing. Next to these are individual salamis the same size as the orange ones but this time wrapped in gold plastic decorated with sprigs of holly and Father Christmas; and lastly is pink spreadable raw minced pork and onions, again in a sausage shape, wrapped in clear plastic with „Frische Zwiebel Mettwurst“ written on them in blue italics. These are all stacked together in one metal tray.

A tabby cat curled up on an old chair upholstered in very similar colours. The cat is half upside down with its legs hanging off the seat, but she’s fast asleep and looks incredibly comfortable.
