I've had success with 3w LEDs in a few configurations– if you're OK with a bit of soldering then it's a good option! I've recorded 500+ species to these lights using traps and sheets over the last 3 years. Have a look here petermobbs.wordpress.com?s=moth for more on this sort of set-up. #teammoth
