VGTunes uses this API to search for albums and gather information about them. To continue using it, I will have to pay for the service. This is their right, but VGTunes is a FOSS project with no regular funding.

And the only way to request the Extended Mode Quota is reserved to organizations, not individuals. It lets me with only three choices: pay, handle Spotify manually, or stop providing links to the platform. All cases result in a downgrade.
