Look at the many bodies now delivering the State’s services, including the voluntary hospitals, the disability providers, and the great care charities. What do they have in common? They were founded by religious orders, by philanthropists, and by parishes, and were helping the sick and poor on the island before there was even an Irish government that existed. When the State finally arrived, then, it did not replace them but instead decided to fund them, and the State spread up around them the way weeds come up through old cracks in the paving, taking whatever space the cracks allowed, while writing cheques to the entities that already existed. And in the meantime, never getting around to building the apparatus of the State itself. But it’s not like there was never a cabinet meeting at which this particular form of state architecture was chosen, which is actually nearly the problem.
What happened in Capel st and parliament st was shameful ,disgraceful and it was a bulling exercise carried by a woke left champagne socialist green mafia dictatorship council against the wishes of the people of the city but fear not the next election is not too far away and these councillors will face the anger of the electorate and the way the DCC caved into demands for a noisey well heeled, government employed cycle lobby and there will be carnage at the next election and then will come the changes back to commonsense.

Good afternoon, I am requesting the following under the Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) regulations, S.I. No. 133 of 2007: -- A spreadsheet copy of the planning enforcement register in the same way as it is released by Monaghan County Council via https://monaghan.ie/planning/enforcement/ As above, and for clarity, my preference is for the records to be made in a spreadsheet format and made publicly available online on or via the council's website at Dublincity.ie. As per the motion recently put to the council's planning SPC (as outlined in this article: https://www.dublininquirer.com/dublin-city-council-planner-throws-cold-water-on-plea-to-publish-more-about-planning-enforcement-cases/), the release of the register in this way would reduce admin and duplication for council staff, help deter property owners from doing the wrong thing, build trust with the public through transparency," and would be in line with what Monaghan County Council is doing and would be as percrobed by the Office of the Planning Regulator. As this relates to the housing crisis, which is widely seen as the most pressing issue the county is faced with, there is zero justification for delaying this for any "national digitisation programme" -- these are records already digitised and updated on a regular basis. While in a narrow way the council may be correct, it is complying with how a register is maintained, this approach to block public access to the register is not in line with the council's requirement to be transparent and is not in line with good procedures which would save the time and effort of both the public and officals, and would be for the betterment of the public interist. Sergey Nikitenko Irish blogger Caolan Robertson Caolan Robertson published a film about Kherson farmers, the key character of which was Oleksandr Gordienko, who was killed by the Russians. While preparing his film, the blogger stole footage from our report by smearing the logo. Of course, he did not ask for any permission to publish. In addition, Kaolan stole the photo that belongs to Ivan Antypenko. Moreover, the blogger wrote ambiguous text on the photo, which makes it clear that it was because of this photo that the Russians killed Alexander. It's such a shame that I think about it all day. I understand that we are all natives here who work to hype our more stellar colleagues. But still, I would like at least some respect. Not money, not recognition, but simply respect for our work.
