Not when the reason you took a tipping job in the first place

was so you could show your income

as making the bismal amount

that is the income cap to be approved for Medicaid

and report only the cast tips that keep you under that cap

(which is actually the ONLY way to make enough money to survive even WITH the benefits you get)

So, no.

Cutting taxes on tips while taking away Medicaid

and SNAP

is a LOSS for people with tipping jobs.
