OBSESSION (film) is stressful, dark and anxiety-ridden but highly entertaining. Like Sam Raimi on a weird trip; disturbing, propulsive, shocking… Drag Me To Hell energy. if you have seen and enjoyed It Follows (2014), Talk To Me (2022) and/or Takashi Miike’s Audition (1999) I imagine you will enjoy this too. if you have seen absolutely none of these but like films where dreadful things happen to deserving (and very undeserving) people and you wonder why you are laughing, you will probably enjoy it too (but I will silently question your taste). even allowing for recency bias I am ready to canonise it. 10/10
