A bit of green car is visible behind the feeder and in the background there's a spruce tree with several tallow-seed balls. A group of sparrows is sitting on them and on nearby branches, snacking and arguing loudly. Passerine birds are coming and going through the birdfeeder, mostly great tits and blue tits, an occasional sparrow and perhaps a coal tit once.

The picture is taken in portrait. Upper part of image is light blueish grey of coming dusk. On the lower part is visible a grey roof from corrugated metal that stretches across the photo, some moss can be seen and a bare branch pokes up behind it on the right. In the centre of the lower part of the image is a dark grey structured gable wall with red metal saddle roof stretching to left and right. Top of the gable reaches above the corrugated roof and on the very tip stands a blackbird, showing against the sky as a silhouette. Its wings are folded and it's positioned with its tail to the left and the yellow beak to the right. The bird's beak and the red metal of the angled roof are the only coloured things in the picture, while the bird's silhouette is stark black and both the walls and the sky are different soft shades of grey.
