UK companies lead the way on cage-free egg progress. Aldi, Lidl, Tesco 100% cage-free across all egg categories joining Waitrose, M&S, Co-op & Sainsbury’s. Asda 100% across own-brand shell eggs & egg products but have no commitment for branded shell eggs. Morrisons and Brooker missed their deadline but Morrisons is 100% cage-free for shell eggs & 92% for egg products. Iceland Did not report on progress in 2025 and extended its commitment deadline to 2027. Spar removed its public commitment.

Farmed animals aren't stupid. It just helps to think they are, if you want to justify confining them to a lifetime of suffering in factory farms.

What's one think you weirdly know a lot about? I weirdly know a lot about air pollution. Like ammonia from factory farms doesn’t just stay there but travels across the country and turns into harmful air pollution. It’s even linked to health problems which is kind of scary when you think about it.
