It's why we hold our utilities responsible when their equipment causes a wildfire.
Surely lawyers get their cut, whoever pays. What do you care who pays? Oh, wait, this is due diligence? You are searching for deep pockets, eh? Oil companies are almost as evil as Center for Climate Integrity and associated scam artists, nobody is going to cry over you crooks fleecing each other.
