something i tell everyone when it comes to art (drawing, but its a universal principal of creativity) is that its NOT gonna look good for a while, its going to take a long time to feel truly confident, and everyone at every skill level struggles. but as long as you keep trying, no matter the level of effort, you will get better!
its important to use references and look at things that inspire you, but do not compare yourself to someone with several years under their belt- its a pretty unhealthy habit that people often fall into!
its also important to have a some confidence in yourself. compliment yourself on the things that do look good. give yourself a treat any time you finish a sketch or completed artwork. share your stuff with your friends, on socials, or any spaces you frequent (people will compliment you regardless of the skill level! dont shrug those off!!!). and don't trash talk your own art or yourself, it only creates a negative feedback loop which ruins your drive to create

art takes time but if you keep at it you'll eventually be really proud of what you create
