Corneile Minnaar, a researcher from Royal Holloway University of London inspecting and counting workers of a colony of bumblebees placed on campus for experiments of bumblebee health.

Buff-tailed bumblebee inside a queen-rearing box laying eggs inside a wax pocket on top of a pollen ball. After laying several eggs inside the pocket, she rapidly closes up the egg pocket with wax, deftly using her mandibles, legs and even her antennae.
