I remember seeing this and thinking I would need to learn a completely new approach to the OS if I ever had to use windows but never actually got to see it. I had to run a VM the other day and wondered if this version was ever released as windows still just seems like old windows, just a bit newer.

The only useful button in all of that mess was “Desktop”. Steve Ballmer’s strategy did seem to get all PC vendors on board with touch screens though. Touch screens seem to be why one can play popular games like Genshin Impact on Windows but not macOS.
