HI!!!!! number one rule ? Do not feel you have to accept dryness discomfort it’s bad for you and your hair . It’s better you have retwist more often than have the locs form with weak bonds

September of 2016 to February of 2023. Find a good loctician and establish a routine. Mine has a proprietary oil that I use a few drops of a week, but otherwise I just let her be. Lol

Find a veteran loctician to start you out as they can best recommend the twist method and size for your hair type and desired look. I grew mine for about a year during the height of the pandemic and a proper consult in the beginning would’ve improved my experience, I think.
