Tayne slowly put her fork down. "A mushroom reactor?" "Yep, they had one under the uni to recycle biomass. One mess up in the growth rate and the whole floor turned into mushrooms for a week until someone noticed. They mobilised a thousand students to clean it all up, it was something out of this world!" Well, if the whole university eats these mushrooms, they're probably safe - deduced Tayne and went back to finishing with the pot.
And at the very top, a massive statue was standing high, visibly treating the whole building like nothing more than a giant pedestal. A statue of a young archon with long flying hair and a metal headband sparkling in the light of Yadi, reaching up even higher with their whole body to raise above their head a colossal silvery metal ring, which they held in one hand - a ring larger than the statue itself and standing vertically up to... Tayne guessed it was like a whole kilometer off the ground?
"Wait," - Tayne was still thinking of one question and finally caught it by the tail. - "Why would the ancients build a railway terminal in the first place? We didn't have cosmic gates until the late thirty-thousands, did we?" "...and modern railway terminals came even later, yes," - Naia replied, - "but who said this was made to be a railway terminal? You know folk used to live in habitats like this?"
