Moritz Moszkowski (1854 – 1925) was a German-Polish composer, virtuoso pianist, and teacher. His last years were spent in poverty for he sold all his copyrights & invested the lot in German, Polish, & Russian bonds & securities, which were rendered worthless on the outbreak of WWI.
