Official map of the UK's Home Defence regions from 1979. After nuclear attack, government would be devolved to each region, led by a Regional Commissioner, who would have absolute authority (see 'Threads' for details - the film, not the app). Which region would you have been in?

91. As a teenager I read a leaked official plan for how the zone would be managed, how many people would probably die in each town, etc. Can't remember much about it now but it was pretty grim.
