Confirmed Possibly of note: I know this isn't what you asked, but the top selection seems to extend really far down into the second line when the first line is selected as well

This led me to wonder if the selection would even further down on each consecutive line, but that does not seem to be the case. The top line is just extra tall, and every line below the first has a selection that's maybe about the right size, but a bit below where it should be.
