A little shameless soft-launch I've been working on a little hobby project over the break around the realities of Alberta Separation. Assuming the current state tax replication with @ABProsperity promise to end income tax, the budgetary impact would be $53.2bn or 72.4% loss.

But just imagine! If conservatives didn’t spend all their time ranting about Ottawa and Quebec, their productivity would increase by like 1000% 😅

In real terms, a $53.2bn loss of op revenue from our current Provincial status to when we would be a "Country" is equivalent to our entire healthcare system... twice over. To match total revenue, proposed tax structures require us to nearly quadruple O&G Production overnight.
