Working in Dundee today. A wee gem of a city, with a huge amount of maritime history. A great example is HMS Unicorn which is the only one of its kind amongst the historic ships still in existence. Sadly I didn’t get a chance to go aboard, but will definitely return to do so. I’m also fascinated

by the links the ship has WW1 which saw over 100 of the RNVR sailors from her Ship’s Company become ‘soldier sailors’ as part of the Royal Naval Division. Other notable mentions in the city is RRS Discovery. Worth a weekend trip for anyone remotely interested in maritime history.
