Shadowheart releases her, moving unsteadily enough that Nocturne might fear she would fall if she didn't know better. She backs herself up against the far railing, fidgeting with her gloves. And then she glows as glorious as the sun, golden threads of light spreading out from her in a radial pattern. Nocturne is blinded, but she doesn't look away, watching as the gold molds into silver, taking shape before her eyes. Shadowheart is a flower abloom, as though petals sprout from her back.
