Maik Meyer ☄️ @comethunter.de · May 9 The seventh comet for tonight, 235P/LINEAR. It is sporting a tail, which can be seen faintly extending to the three o'clock direction already in this preview images. The comet is about 14 mag. 7/n 🔭☄️

The last one for tonight, number eight: comet C/2024 J3 (ATLAS). It might be hard to see, it is a diffuse trail diagonally below the faint 16.4 mag star. It is around 14-15 mag. Thanks for watching, I am awfully tired and have only a few hours sleep ahead. Processing/photometry tomorrow. 8/8 🔭☄️
