LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia @controller.lacity.gov · Jun 12 A recommendation of ours the City Council Committee actually DOES plan to move forward is a CFO for the City. BUT instead of the elected Controller as CFO, they want to give it to an unelected bureaucrat (the CAO) who works for THEM.
