a wonderful graffiti rabbit on a contrasting red support beam— it fits perfectly in the width of the beam. the rabbit has a black outline and details but white main color. a teal board frames the top horizontally.
a very faded sign that i think was once warning not to bike on the sidewalk. various stickers, some painted over, three newer ones stand out. one is a homemade sticker with a fancy black tag i can’t make out. another is a silly blue monster guy with his eyes wide and his mouth open in a funny way. another above is a parody of a slipping and falling warning sticker. it says CAUTION NO SOCIAL SAFETY NET AVAILABLE RESOURCES BEING USED TO FUND REPRESSIVE POLICE STATE PLEASE FEND FOR YOURSELES

a homemade post office sticker. a gnome with a speech bubble. it says “Always lead with whatever you want to convey to someone it makes for strong communication.” it’s signed Lücky Gnomë.

“Authority is brittle.” written in pink on a park bench. the camera pans up to show a staircase down to Alki beach that’s blocked off and says CAUTION: KEEP OUT. then it pans down the beach to show off the Olympic mountains.
the same sunset from a different angle, somehow even softer as the clouds diffuse. this time the silhouette has one tall tree on the left and a further away tree on the right. a telephone pole in the distance and another closer to the camera. the powerlines lead nicely toward center frame.

the No Parking concrete blocks have been almost entirely overgrown with bright green, spring growth. Only a few letters still peak out from under their shadow.
more yellow lichen on grey utility pole. this time a faded circle shows the ghost of a sticker. the lichen seems to love whatever leftover adhesive is there. it’s grown inside the circle nicely and spills over the top a bit. the left side of the pole shows some other wear and tear, bluer paints shining through. at the bottom a black zip tie goes around the pole and lichen has gathered there as well. some dark green trees tower behind with just a corner of grey sky.
another utility pole with a focus on the dappled lichen. this rendition has lots of black, grey, and white. a few yellow patches stand out nicely. more green grass, sky and Elliot Bay behind.
a utility pole that’s missing an oval cover of some sort. it leaves a deep black hole in the pole that feels a bit surreal. a grey outline around the void shows rain drips wearing down the paint over time. they come together from each side at the bottom of the oval into a long tear stain. is dappled in lichen, spanning from blue to green to some yellow. there’s green grass and a paved walking path behind with a bit of dark grey Elliot Bay, and the light grey sky.

the same grey dumpster around the corner with lots of white tags and some yellow. this time it’s a much bigger, messy, drippy black RAGE. the E is folding in on itself a bit. a couple black dots to start and end and one black drip goes all the way down “off the page” stand out.
