The process involves a few UI panels, which provide keyboard-navigable lists of either the nearby items, or the available actions for a specific item.
16x16 tilemap. Two forest ‘blocks’ (one deciduous, one coniferous) are made from repeating tiles, a small number of variants (6 total for each type) softening the square grid & repeating texture somewhat. The forests are surrounded by a scattering of shrubs, rocks and mushroom tiles, as well as various ‘empty’ tiles with different textures of scattered stones, grasses and leaves.

a very rough Godot Engine prototype of an arcadey, Mario Kart-style vehicle controller. A silver-grey car drives around a grey and white track floating in a neutral grey void (slightly jumpy movement from keyboard controls). There’s a decent amount of procedural animation juice in the vehicle handling, with wheel rotation & steering, drifting, alignment with slopes, roll while cornering, and a bit of bounce when starting a drift.

16x16 pixel art sprites for plate armour (gloves, breastplate, legs, greaves/boots), plus 3x helms (spangen/kettle/frogmouth) and a sword. The set is repeated in three colourways: rusty brown, tarnished iron, and shiny steel.
