They still haven't reached signal. There is no way to contact base. Gabi has returned only to confirm fears. Whatever food they have left must be rationed. Another problem on Eyla's spilling plate. Already she has to prevent the group from fighting each other. Hunger will make these fights worse. Flower keeps to herself. No point involving herself when she has no control over the outcome. She'll decide what to do in terms of food when the moment presents itself. Taras believes in keeping the mood positive. Not that Arlie appreciates it. To her, it comes across as him dismissing the situation they're in. That's not his fault. He's only a rookie. He doesn't understand how dire the situation is. Returning from the highest buildings, Niko eases the group. He made contact and let's everyone know that they have to move towards the west. They'll meet a train that they must reach in a week's time. What he doesn't relay is that he could barely hold contact for five seconds. He is betting on information from three days ago.
