The CRIT (Creator Recognition In TTRPG) Awards is a peer driven award show striving to recognize creators in an inclusive and positive way.

The CRIT Awards Board has recently been made aware of an oversight regarding last years awards. It’s been brought to our attention that the Critty Trophies (a new addition to the awards as of last year) along with the sponsor prizes (another change from previous years) were never mailed out to our 2025 winners this previous fall. We want to be very transparent with how we are handling this. This has been addressed internally and will not happen again. The winners of the 2025 CRIT Awards will all be receiving emails over the course of this next week from us confirming shipping/mailing addresses along with a formal apology. All the trophies and sponsor prizes will be mailed out in June. As we finish prepping packages we will be posting a list and pictures of the items they will be receiving along with shout outs to the sponsors who donated and sent us items for last years awards. This upcoming award season this responsibility will be handled by the board and not left solely with one person to ensure that trophies and sponsor prizes are sent out in a timely fashion. We will also be posting a full list of sponsored gifts on our website as well as sharing out to our socials. We sincerely apologize for this mistake. Hello everyone, it has come to my attention just how badly I (Ivy) have had my responsibilities with CRIT Awards fall to the wayside. I don't want to present this as an excuse but quite a few factors have contributed: moving twice, starting my full time job, going back to school, wedding planning, and a slew of health issues. I haven't been prioritizing the CRIT Awards, and have let everything go longer than I even realized and I want to apologize. The CRIT Awards is a volunteer lead project that I had built for community, and I've neglected it this past year. This reflects solely on me, and going forward the board will be handling the items I was in charge of to avoid future issues. I'm incredibly sorry for this situation and I would like the opportunity to make sure things have gotten to their correct winners from the 2025 CRIT Awards, so please keep an eye out for an email to verify where things should be sent to you. I appreciate your understanding, and want to apologize to our community and peers once again.
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes taking feedback from the last couple years of Awards and making some changes to the CRIT Award process. This year you will see that there are two different forms to be filled out- CRIT Awards 2026: Submission Form This is the main submission form. This includes the majority of our categories that are now self-submitted instead of being community nominated. It is a simplified form that creators will fill out for each category they or their team would like to be considered for. There is absolutely no fee for submission. CRIT Awards 2026: Community Nominations Form This form will have three categories that anyone in the TTRPG community or fanbase can nominate for: Best Innovation, Best TTRPG Charity/Community Organization or Event, and Outstanding Community Member. This form operates in the same manner as previous year’s forms. We can’t wait to see all of the amazing projects you all have been working on this past year. Good luck!
Submission Period: This is where creators will be able to submit their own work in the various categories they are interested in. This is also where the community can nominate peers for the three community nominated categories - a change from previous years. Verification Stage: Our verification team, made up of various members who specialize in different areas of the TTRPG community, review all submissions and nominations using a rubric and comparison system, as well as verifying they meet all criteria. Voting Period: The community will be allowed to vote for finalists in all categories that have accepted their nominations.
