"Hey! Wrong Way, Silly Mini!" read the overhead sign. After the freshly-transformed Mini skidded to a stop, it looked back up at the giant sign addressing it. "EXIT N/A. Your Future: Object TF isn't so bad. You'll love it!" The overhead sign assured the permanently-transfigured automobile. "Regardless: even if you wanted to, you can't turn back." "Besides; we all look way cuter as living objects!" The logo sign behind it bounced in agreement as it 'warned' passersby about the Perma-TF Area they all inhabited. "Better to be a sign than a dumb human, am I right?"
"Ah, whoops." That was the first accidental Ember Xyron had done since they moved out. "I thought the human tradition was to blow out the candle," Mudkip said as they stifled a giggle. "That looked more like the other thing." "Oh, shush. At least it'sonly lightly singed." Xyron smiled. "How did you know about my favorite treat, anyhow?" "Don't you know? I'm slightly psychic," Mudkip teased. Thump! Thump! Thump! "I'm kidding. It was just a lucky guess." They sniffed the air. "Do you smell something burning?" THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! Meanwhile, consequences were rapidly approaching the two Junior Expedition Society members.
