text that reads "Official Statement: We are aware that a potential hate crime has been committed at Crow's Nest Comics earlier today, as a staff member knocked a copy of The Prince in The Basement into a trash can. After rolling a 19 (plus 3) on our investigation check we have learned that it was an accident while the staff member was doing a Big Stretch after an intense napping session. Furthermore, this staff member, and we quote, "will knock anything down into the trash regardless of content". Therefore even if this was a crime it was not a hate crime against bisexuals. To prevent accidents from happening again we have placed this staff member on a PIP (purrsonal improvement pets)."
