My general rule of thumb is: I browse with Adblock enabled, and if the site kindly asks me to disable it, maybe it’s under where an ad normally would go, or something like that, and it’s genuinely unobtrusive I’ll disable it, also if you demand that I disable my Adblock to view your site I’m gone.
