It's really telling when a film series claims to tell a story where the central conflict discusses discrimination, but fails miserably not only because it lacks the perspective and the nerve to depict an earnest representation of these experiences, but also because the workplace of said production is actively hostile towards the very people who live these experiences every. single. day. As well as being forced into silence by the studios that prioritize their own reputation, and profits by extension, over the rights of marginalized workers/artists. My condolences genuinely go out to Parker Goldsmith and anybody who's suffered similar harassment and bigotry, and have endured tenfold the hardship in order to find work in this industry.
