A delicately blown chicken eggshell, its emptied interior visible through a single puncture at the crown, serves as the substrate for a continuous, hand-painted field of swirling chromatic bands—turquoise, magenta, cadmium yellow, and ultramarine—interlaced with fine gold veining. The gold lines follow both fracture paths and circuit-like routes, invoking simultaneous logics of damage and repair. Three resistor forms appear within the flow, rendered entirely in trompe l’oeil enamel: they are not attached components but illusions of embedded circuitry, painted flush to the eggshell surface. Their banding echoes standardized electronic color codes while dissolving into the surrounding currents, suggesting both measurement and its breakdown. The shell bears hairline fractures sealed in gold, recalling kintsugi traditions while recontextualizing them within a techno- psychological idiom. The egg’s surface is matte-to-satin, with localized gloss in the enamel passages, producing a subtle, shifting reflectivity under light.
