Neuroglancer, if you don't know, is a web app developed by Google (with a lot more community involvement recently) for exploring very large, cloud hosted 3d image volumes and segmentations.

Neuroglancer has become a key tool for connectomics, but was designed around static precomputed data rather than dynamic mixtures of local analysis and cloud data. I built NGLui to promote a rapid cycle between data analysis and validation. If you build Neuroglancer states, give it a try!
