These three jackasses are either selling out or sandbagging, because they think if they gave her the high hard one, she'd give up this revolution stuff and get back in the kitchen and make them a sandwich. It is infuriating. CAPTION: And these wandering refugees wonder which fate would be WORSE--to go on...or to REFUSE to go on. From 1994, Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #31, "Overload!" Written by Gregory Wright, pencils by Gordon Purcell, inks by Pam Eklund. Silver Sable has a drink with her ex, 'Basil,' a.k.a. the Foreigner! She really shouldn't, though: not just because he was a smarmy creep, but she was pregnant--with his kid! Sable's about as thrilled with that as you'd expect.

The bad guy, who's name I forget, calls a lawyer who is secretly working for him, using magic and his hand. His icy breath (or bad breath, I guess) comes through the receiver. Said bad guy also has a pretty good bit in a later issue, where he bitches about time zones and once he takes over, he'll do away with that, day one. He'd get retconned so he wasn't an extradimensional maniac, though, so...

All the mutants have been humanized, which is great for some like Toad and Rogue, sucks for ones like Angel or Nightcrawler, and is actively killing Wolverine and probably Cable. No one had the heart to tell human Kurt to sew up his tail-hole...

Batman responds by growling and tearing out a table, launching a dead bat across the room.
