They’re back—big, mossy & cruising muddy waters. 🐢 Snapping turtles use tiny barbels (those little pink blobs 🐽) under their jaws to 'smell' their way through murky waters, tracking prey & even changes in water chemistry. Frogs 🐸, crayfish🦀 & carrion💀 (dead animals)… beware. #WildlifeWednesday
