Lean pickings for butterflies at Damhead near Traquair at the weekend, but amazingly on the walk back spotted a flash of green and thankfully it landed eventually. My first spotting of a Large Emerald on a sunny day. Go figure. #moth #moths #Traquair #ScottishBorders.
