Even more intruiging is the build-in instruction creator, which uses the 3d model as a starting point and lets you break it down into visual steps, with florishes like arrows and sub-pieces, with a separate renderer for the lovely schematic style. 4/9

What's particularly clever is the non-destructive editing where your 3d hierarchy and build order feeds into the instruction generation. Again it's not just doing things in the 'standard' 3d modeling way, instead it's very tailored to the specifics of lego building. 5/9
