It’s not localised but it seems to have ‘localised’ cards on the bbc app home page weirdly, very odd

Aye, same for me. Article headline with USD, link card to it in app with GBP.
huh yeah i just tried on a VPN and .co.uk domain and saw the same $12 headline. though that would be a weirdly high effort troll if that first screenshot was doctored but that explains it at least somewhat i guess?
