I think it would be super derpy if that was true, but Oda being a genius planted seeds for this way back (as for most other theories out there).

Moon god falls from the sky, promises to solve humanity's problems, gets revered, gains power, Joy Boy rallies the Ancient Kingdom in opposition, gets defeated (likely betrayed), the god splits the power between his allies to be fair, rules the world from the shadows.
Or Imu can always get Kaido silhouette treatment. Just saying 😆
