Notebook paper that says the following in script handwriting: “Very excited to share my new project, and I don’t have any photo to share quite yet, so figured you’ll have to read my handwriting for a bit. REPETITION, a solo piano cycle, was composed over the course of the last year and began as a question: “what if I had to use the same note throughout the whole piece?” This turned into seven pieces, from C to B (sorry, no accidentals this time). Yes, I’ll release them weekly (or bi-weekly, I haven’t decided) ) in keyboard order starting with middle C, and yes, I went back and forth about starting with A instead. These are some of my favorite pieces I’ve ever written, and I’ll (soon!) publish and release the sheet music for sale on my (surprise) new online sheet music store so you can buy and play them yourselves. Can’t wait to share these pieces with you! Thank you for reading!”
