Peter Yarrow (d. Jan. 7th, 86) was a convicted child sex offender who got a last-day-in-office pardon from President Carter.

This looked like it was designed by a major label either at their insistence or due to lack of interest on the band's part. Sepia-tinted photo of 2 dogs standing side by side facing opposite directions near a curb on an otherwise empty rain-slickened street in some part of town. One dog looks dolefully at the camera, the other stares to the side. Just above them large white letters in reverse say 'the replacements.' Superimposed on a portion of that is 'the replacements' not in reverse & this time in black. Directly under a portion of the black letters, smaller still & this time in red type & upside-down/reversed, is the album's (boring/unimaginative) title, 'All Shook Down.' If graphic design is your passion, this ..thing is tough to look at. Go look at their other covers in reverse, starting with DON'T TELL A SOUL (1989). Look at them all. Then look at this again. Maybe you had to be there but in the wake of NEVERMIND (1991) every major label pushing a band they hoped would be the next Nirvana had that band's major-label-debut album cover look like this. Whoever's decision this cover was, the Replacements deserved better.

Serranos are plentiful. Cayenne is tryenne. The little ones are our first ripe biquinhos, so named for their beak-like appearance. They are mild but less so if you leave in the seeds, though still less heat than a jalapeño. We may pickle them.
