Today I've officially leave my grandparents/childhood home. After a year of being alone after my grandpa trying to fight his lung cancer and trying my damnest of trying to save my grandparents house I could not do it. Things were against me and I was very upset after finding out that the house was auctioned off right before we got a loan to pay off the reverse mortgage. I am fine though. I have a place to stay for a few weeks and a home lined up for me to rent from. It just saddens me that I'll have to leave the home where I started in life and ended taking care of my grandparents until they both passed away. I miss them greatly for everything they've done for me and having people I can be with and know deeply. But now, I'm in a space of sadness, wonder of what will life be like next and how I'll manage being by myself going forward.
