The letters in “Odour” are coloured brown with green squiggly lines above the letters in the word “odour", coloured green, to shows smell emanating. This is in reference to the Corruptcare scandal and the UCP giving the Separatists a free ride to a referendum. The letters for the words “Corruption, Strong, Nothing and Free” are coloured red to highlight them for the reasons mentioned previously in reference to the new border signs.

Photo along thirteenth avenue in Medicine Hat today. My self and thirty three people including @ofmanyfandoms.bsky.social gathered to support Alberta remaining part of Canada and call out the UCP. People were waving flags and holding various signs.

I have mentioned before that he rarely sits on my lap. He considers my wife his companion. Occasionally like today, he’ll get on my lap but won’t stay unless I pet him almost continuously. In this photo I had stopped to answer a text on my phone. As I did he turned his head towards me. Gave his right ear a tweak while giving me a squinty eyed sideways look, indicating he expects more pets.

There were over thirty three hearty souls in the snow and cold singing Oh Canada and giving the Bob and Doug salute to the odd separatist that went by. There was a change in venue. We were originally going to hold it at Smith’s office, but the organizers thought we had higher visibility at the Justin Wright location. They were right! We had way more people supporting us with long honks and waves. Maybe two, or three needed the Bob & Doug salute.

The bin is filled with water. An orange and white Robot Clownfish and a red and white Robot Goldfish were placed in the water and were swimming around. D’Artagnan is sitting beside the bin and pawing in the water in an effort to get the fish. In this photo he managed to flip the Goldfish out of the water, which is visible on the green bath towel below where D’Artagnan is going after the Clownfish. I tried to get a photo of him flipping the goldfish out, but missed the shot which is why there is a bit of blurring from my camera moving.

We have a twenty five centimetre (ten inch) silicon circular blue feeder that is divided by raised wave shaped walls, that form cavities. The cats have to extract wet, or dry kibble food from the cavities using their paws/claws to flip the food out, or force the silicon walls apart with their muzzle to get at the food. Rowan is feeding from it very rigorously, because her favourite fish flavoured kibble has been added to it. In the background on the floor is a wood newspaper caddy and wood stairs leading down to our front door.

We had some of his toys in the laundry/bathroom on our ground floor. In this photo he’s crouched upright on the green, yellow and grey vinyl tile patterned floor. He’s playing with a wooden turtle shaped ball track toy. He’s facing away from me. At this young age his fur has many black spots around his shoulders and back and some of his spots are so close together they are forming stripes. As a senior cat he still has spots on his belly and a few on his legs, but overall mostly stripes. Beside him in the photo is a shower stall a pink ball and on the other side of the turtle is a brown cat bed with a yellow play mouse in it.

Rowan is just barely opening her eyes as I disturbed her sleep when I walked up to take the photo. I surmise from this that Rowan wasn’t in a very deep sleep, so must be almost ready to get up. D’Artagnan's eyes are hidden and he never moved, so I’m guessing he’ll sleep for a while yet.

His head is turned to his right and eye’s are closed in pleasure. I used the term “stretch” in the description as a pun indicating how he’s stretched out and “long” because it makes him look so long. You can make up your mind if it’s funny, but I thought it was.

The Forever Canadian referendum would have stopped the Separatist one from going ahead.
