He had gone to Minneapolis to pick up Mae. And my jaw went back to hurting. I hadn’t seen Mae for about four years. We’d left our friendship mostly in tatters when she left. Whereas I hadn’t edited either of the videos I posted nor any of the photos beyond the filters present in the app, it was clear Mae did a lot of that stuff. The lighting in her photos always made everything feel so crisp. A white furry rug and accent items allowed her personal creations to pop in pictures. She also frequently posted pictures with what was clearly a green screen backdrop. Sometimes she modeled the clothing or costumes out at some location and she always made sure to set a mood with the images.
