A spooky forest in a Minecraft style. There are pumpkins, and various mobs in the background. For example, an enderman holding a jack o' lantern, a cat winking, and a creeper about to smash a pumpkin.
A room with many kinds of brick botany pots. The room is made of tuff bricks where adding in Minecraft 1.21.1. There is a painting on the wall of a rose which was also added in this version of Minecraft. The botany pots are growing an array of flowers that are similar to the rainbow color spectrum.

When installing a data pack you will be prompted to select which data pack loader you want to use. The available options depend on which version of Minecraft you are using and the mod loader you chose. The screenshot shows Global Packs by JTK222, Paxi by Nick Yung, and Open Loader by Darkhax. Global Data Packs by Declipsonator is also available for some platforms.

Throwing a rumblepea, paleogourd, and spireshuck into a cauldron over blue flames will create a new liquid called the blood of the philosopher. Throwing a copper ingot into the fluid will transmute it into gold.
The Spireshuck is based on Mercury, the twisting vines forming the circle and horns of the symbol. The Paleogourd is based on salt, where the fruit represents the circle and the roots and leaves form the line going through the crop. The Rumblepea is based on sulfur, with the leaves forming the triangle.
A farm built using the three new crops added by the Primordial Harvest mod. The tall crops on the corners are Spireshuck which weaken and repel undead mobs. The inner crops are Rumblepeas, they speed up the growth of other crops but can explode if trampled. In each corner of the field is a Paleogourd, which strengthens the soils with its roots, preventing trampling.
A curious crop from a long forgotten era. Its thick roots stabilize nearby soil, preventing trampling and erosion. The largest specimens create vast root networks, securing soil up to 5 blocks away! The fruit tastes of salt and is better used to brew potions of fortitude.
A Diamond Hoe in the new harvest slot. It is enchanted with fortune 3 and Efficiency 5. The fortune enchantment increases the amount of items dropped by some crops, while the efficiency enchantment speeds up growth by 5% per level!

Twelve new variants of botany pots that are based on the various brick blocks in the game. These pots function the same as normal botany pots and are only a visual alternative. Like other pots, these can also be upgraded into hopper botany pots.
Example code that will crash because player is a subtype of EntityPlayer and this assignment implicitly casts the value, causing the client side class to be validated on the server.

A preview of new rendering features in Botany Pots 1.21.1. The pot on the left contains some tall grass but the biome tint has been overridden. Instead of the normal vibrant green it is now a pale orange. The pot in the middle has a stack of iron blocks that have been recolored from white to a rainbow gradient. The pot on the right has a cube textured with the birch trapdoor texture. This is not a block that exists in the game and would not normally be possible to render in a botany pot. You can use any texture from the block atlas, including custom textures added by a resource pack.
