Dead Dead Demons DeDeDeDe Destruction is another kino work by Asano. A rather complex manga dealing with themes that are very much relevant today. There's a massive mothership that looms over Tokyo. The mothership is pretty much treated like how we treat any potential threat to humanity. And the good ol government is there to do their thing. Oh we don't stop there though as even themes of discrimination makes itself known. Asano had a lot to say about a lot of things. I personally think he handled each topic quite well. It never felt preachy but it was far from subtle. Asano is great at interweaving such themes into his world to where everything feels natural. For example the government using the invaders as a common enemy to distract the people from what the government is doing. Which in turn splits the citizens into
