A quick breezy read, though the heroine (a dog walker/whisperer whose client is found murdered) was a bit too blithe about the risks of being framed for murder for my taste. Reginald the dog is cute though!

I was amused that “A Mystery” had to be put on the cover, presumably in case this was mistaken for a self-help book for the niche topic of discussing murder with your pet. I mistyped the book name in Google and the AI overview indeed did try to give me advice on talking to my dog about murder
